”At DJL, we have been using Minds control systems with satisfaction for more than ten years and we currently operate 15 plants with those systems, plus 2 ordered this year. We use them on batches, drums and hybrid plants. The performances are there and the service is very satisfactory. I can recommend them without hesitation.

“We have been using Minds products for many years and their automation software equips now five of our six plants. We even specified them to provide the control system on the latest two Astec plants we acquired. They are very responsive and have easily incorporated our requests in their products. I would recommend them to anyone who wants a fine control of their production process.

“eRoutes gives everyone authorized access to the critical information on the status of paving projects and plant productions. With this information, decisions are made to improve the efficiency of our operations. Deciding on the numbers of trucks is simplified and resources are not wasted. “We have been using AcquiLab for 2 years. It has a steep learning curve and some aspects that still need to be improved but it is a very powerful tool which allowed us to reveal anomalies that impacted negatively our production quality. Also, it allowed us to measure the actual improvement brought by the correctives measures we took.I would recommend it to any quality control manager eager to know in detail what is going on in regards to mix production and plant accuracy.

The energy efficiency module on eRoutes allows our managers to monitor their plant efficiency on a daily and weekly basis. This tool compares our plant's fuel consumption to the amount and temperature of the mix produced, giving us a loss factor that is then compared to the theoretical loss inherent in the plant equipment. By closely monitoring our actual loss factor versus the theoretical for each plant, we can investigate problem areas quickly to make sure the plants operate as efficiently as possible. ”
