Service automation technician - Granby, QC

Job title:

We are currently looking for a full-time Service automation technician for our workshop in St-Alphonse-De-Granby.


Candidate profile:

  • DEC (Diploma of College Studies) in Electronic
  • DEP (Diploma of Vocational Studies) in Electromechanical

*Minimum experience of 3 years


Work duties:

  • Control panel mounting/installation
  • Configuration of control software, I/O routing
  • Startup/commission on customer site
  • On-site and remote support in Quebec
  • Installation support throughout the realization of the project
  • Participation in distributor and subsidiary support in the U.S. and English Canada according to language proficiency


Required skills:

  • Knowledge of Electricity
  • Knowledge in Pneumatics
  • Knowledge in Hydraulics
  • Knowledge in Electronics
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite (Word and Excel)
  • Fluency in French (oral and written), English (oral and written)


Employee mobility:

The candidate will be required to travel throughout the province

Software Developer - Granby, QC

Job title:

We are currently looking for a full-time Software developer in automation to join our Granby team.


Candidate profile:

  • Bachelor or DEC (Diploma of College Studies) in computer science or related field
  • Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to work on several concurrent projects, sometimes with tight time constraints
  • Occasional availability outside of normal hours


Work duties:

  • Understand the client's objectives and the modifications to be made to the source code in collaboration with the project manager and the chief developer
  • Implement, test, and maintain real-time or asynchronous applications and libraries in a Windows environment for industrial use
  • Assist in the support and troubleshooting of problems as they arise at customer sites
  • Participate in the creation of tools to improve the development process


Required skills:

  • Professional proficiency in English
  • C/C++ (Embarcadero, Visual Studio)
  • Windows API, COM
  • Familiarity with Windows OS troubleshooting and debugging environment
  • Familiarity with TCP/IP networks and stacks
  • Familiarity with basic database concepts

Bonus: Knowledge of Delphi and VCL, Python, .Net
