The MINDS team is eagerly anticipating CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2020, which is North America’s largest construction trade show. Held every three years in Las Vegas, this massive event features the latest equipment advances and newest technology applications in every aspect of construction.
There are 2000+ exhibitors representing products in asphalt, aggregates, concrete, earthmoving, hauling, lifting, trucking, underground construction and more.
MINDS is a leader in advanced state of the art automation control systems for asphalt plants, burners, silo load-out, ticketing, full plant control systems and data management for the asphalt industry. MINDS also offers quality and energy monitoring, enterprise level ticketing management and production monitoring and a suite of mobile apps to help manage hot mix production and delivery.
Pierre Vidaillac, CEO of MINDS, is looking forward to his team making new connections at the show. "We're hoping for a good experience, but are aware of the healthcare concern surrounding the Coronavirus and travel advisories. It's still a couple of weeks away, so we will remain alert and will decide on personnel and attendance accordingly."
Designed from the ground up with the Operator's priorities, DrumTronic brings asphalt plants to a new level of extremely fine tuned automation and control through an intuitive user interface and dedicated hardware. For decades, DrumTronic has been a cornerstone of MINDS' success. Installed in plants around the world, the software & hardware has evolved to meet the demands of today's plant managers. As the number of installations grows in American asphalt plants, keeping the great service level has been the focus.
"Customer satisfaction remains high– something we're really proud of," adds Pierre.
PlantManager is software tool MINDS developed within the last couple of years. It's all about gaining a 30,000ft level of your company's plants with an all-in-one powerful dashboard. Spot issues at glance, and drill down into production and job data.
"We already have several customers using it, and reviews have been very good," says Pierre. The company is gathering user feedback and product 'wishlist' comments to make further improvements to the toolset in 2020.
TankFarm fills a gap in MINDS' Data Suite, by adding a mobile app that integrates with desktop asphalt plant management software. The apps makes it easy to remotely monitor liquid tank farms, tank heating, and boilers.
Pierre explains, "It was an obvious choice for product development. Customers wanted a tank monitoring app, plus it was something our competitors were offering in their packages. We have responded to demand, and are happy to report that TankFarm is being used across the country by many companies."
