ASTEC Digital is excited to be exhibiting new developments in our asphalt plant control systems and demonstrating our forthcoming connectivity suite at the World of Asphalt and NSSGA’s AGG1 Aggregates Academy Expo 2024 event in Nashville, Tennessee.

Join ASTEC Digital experts at booth 1263 to learn about and test out our lineup of cutting-edge products. Get a sneak peek at the future of data-informed plant and equipment management, and be transported into a portable asphalt plant through our new augmented reality experience.

“We’re looking forward to attending World of Asphalt and AGG1 to showcase the work we’ve been doing to create a unified ASTEC Digital product ecosystem and help our customers run efficient, safe, and cost-effective operations,” said Eric Baker, vice-president of ASTEC Digital, who will be attending the conference. Baker will also join a panel of industry experts for the session Driving a Safer Work Zone Through Innovation on March 26.

Conference attendees will get the first look at ASTEC Digital’s asphalt connectivity suite, a soon-to-be-released universal platform that will bring the power of our full portfolio of tools together all in one place. This connectivity suite will soon be the place for customers to find data-driven insights into and performance information about their plant, quarry, or road crew operations. The intuitive, user-friendly platform will also be the place to find information on where to source parts, learn about ASTEC services, and set fleet maintenance reminders for all ASTEC equipment.

The ASTEC booth will host our state-of-the-art augmented reality showcase. World of Asphalt delegates can strap on a headset and take a walk through a complete asphalt plant layout—all the way from the aggregate feeder to the storage silo—with the ability to zoom in on key plant components for more information or zoom out for a big picture site view. When commercially available, this innovative solution will allow customers to see their operations digitally, complete with visible site and equipment data points, and collaborate with colleagues in the virtual world.

“That’s where all of this is going — to create a digital representation of our customers’ operations so they can improve them in the real world,” said Baker.

ASTEC Digital will also show off new developments with our asphalt plant control systems, including Drumtronic, Batchtronic, PM3, and PlantManager, as well as the cloud-based applications that work with them. The company is also set to highlight its Intelliflex Burner Control system, a user-friendly platform that gives operators precise burner controls, simplified fault diagnostics, and bathhouse suction control.

Our Rock to Road innovation experts will be available to talk about how our asphalt plant controls, telematics, and equipment management solutions can optimize your operations.
